The Salt Spring Island Farm Dinner Series kicked off at Falcon Farm hosted by Kerry Lee and neighbouring farmer Vera Robinson from Hope Hill Farm. Chef Tanner from the Salt Spring Centre produced the inspiring meal, and Blair Francis Armstrong and friends provided the music. These farm to table events profile local farms and food, and local chefs and musicians, and are a fund raiser for local food security and the Salt Spring abattoir.
The dinner at Ruckle Park is sold out, but there are a few tickets available for the tea at Willowcrest Farm on the 13th June, 3-5pm.
